Meet our Team

Behind every great product is a passionate team, and for Mighty Tiny Microgreens in Milaca, that team is the husband-and-wife duo, Jeremy and Julie. Together, they’ve transformed personal challenges into a mission-driven business that’s all about fresh, flavorful, and nutrient-packed microgreens.

Julie’s path to farming was deeply personal. After becoming very sick—which resulted in a disability and multiple food allergies—she turned to microgreens to fill the nutritional gaps in her restricted diet. With a lifelong love of growing vegetables, first learned from her grandmother, Julie found that farming gave her a sense of purpose during a period of recovery that included 10 months of physical therapy and relearning how to walk. "Being in the farm room is a very calming and therapeutic experience,” she says. “There’s nothing better than knowing you worked hard to grow fresh, top-quality vegetables year-round.” Inspired by the benefits they personally experienced, the couple set out to share the power of microgreens with others.

Microgreens are not only nutrient-dense but also incredibly easy to add to your meals. Julie recommends enjoying them uncooked for the maximum health benefits. “In fact, you get the most health benefits from eating them raw” she says. “Use them as a garnish or be like us and use a dump truck of them on all of your meals!”

Julie and Jeremy also bring a fun and lighthearted touch to their business, with playful product names like "Pepe' Le Pea" and "Baby Got Beetz," along with quirky labels that say things like “Where Small Leaves Pack a Punch” and “Little Leafy Laughers."
